Privacy Policy

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what information Datably collects when you use our website and campaign reporting service, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe. By using Datably, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

Account information: when you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored only in encrypted form).

Campaign and client data: the campaigns, posts, metrics, client names, and logos you add to build reports. You own this data — we store it so your reports work.

Report viewer information: when someone opens a shared report, we collect the email address they enter and record when the report was viewed, so report owners can see who has read their reports.

Contact submissions: if you write to us through the contact form, we keep your name, email, company, and message so we can reply.

Usage data: basic technical information such as browser type and pages visited, used to keep the service reliable and improve it.

How we use information

To provide the service: storing your campaigns, generating reports, delivering shared report links, and showing view activity to report owners.

To communicate with you: replying to inquiries, sending important service updates, and (with your consent) occasional product news you can opt out of at any time.

To secure and improve the service: preventing abuse, diagnosing issues, and understanding which features are useful.

We do not sell your personal information or your clients' data, and we do not use your campaign data to advertise to you.

How your data is stored and protected

Data is stored with managed, industry-standard cloud infrastructure. Access to your workspace is controlled by role-based permissions, and shared reports are private by default — they are only viewable after a report owner explicitly enables sharing, and viewers must identify themselves by email.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your campaigns, reports, and uploaded media are removed within a reasonable period, except where we must keep limited records for legal or accounting purposes.

Third-party services

We rely on a small number of service providers to run Datably — for example cloud hosting, authentication, email delivery, and (if you connect it) the Meta advertising platform to pull your ad metrics. These providers process data only as needed to deliver their part of the service and are bound by their own privacy obligations.

When you connect a Meta Ads account, we access only the metrics required to build your reports. Disconnecting the account stops further data collection.

Your rights

You can access, correct, or export your information at any time, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. If you viewed a shared report and want your view record removed, contact the report owner or reach out to us and we will forward the request.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under privacy laws such as PIPEDA or GDPR — we honor those rights for all users regardless of location.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy in a material way, we will post the updated version here with a new effective date and, for significant changes, notify account holders by email.
